    <description>This printer has the foll issue. printer name DMQ1 (defined in /etc/hosts)(note: this ip was newly changed). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # nslookup DMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;Using /etc/hosts on: ah20&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;looking up FILES&lt;BR /&gt;Name:    DMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;Address:  66.84.128.101&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # lpstat -pDMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;printer DMQ1 disabled since Aug 15 11:15 -&lt;BR /&gt;        error 1 returned&lt;BR /&gt;        fence priority : 0&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # enable DMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;printer "DMQ1" now enabled&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # accept DMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;accept: destination "DMQ1" was already accepting requests&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # lpstat -pDMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;printer DMQ1 disabled since Aug 15 11:19 -&lt;BR /&gt;        error 1 returned&lt;BR /&gt;        fence priority : 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Brian</description>

      <description>Probably the easist thing to do is do an lpshut, remove and reinstall the printer, and then lpsched.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You can ensure that the IP was changed for the printer in the PATH of /etc/lp/interface/model.orig/&lt;PRT_NAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;or as stated, the easiest is to remove and then readd the printer&lt;/PRT_NAME&gt;</description>

      <description>I am not ablt remove the printer using lpadmin -x as it states there are jobs queued.Also starnge is the fact that lpstat -a says&lt;BR /&gt;root@ah20 # lpstat -a |grep -i DMQ1&lt;BR /&gt;DMQ1 accepting requests since Jul 11 15:25&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not sure what the issue is. How will remove it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Brian</description>

      <description>Use the cancel command to get rid of the requests or the lpmove command to move them to another queue. Is this a "Network" (in HP-UX speak) or a "Remote" printer?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
