    <description>Hi All&lt;BR /&gt;           I had Hp 9000 E45 server.When I amtrying to login to the server after givivng username it givig message Audswitch :not owner.Even I tried with single user it is not allownig to login there also&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How to avoid it What could be the reason behind it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Renjith Sivan</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See the binary &lt;BR /&gt;/bin/login and /usr/bin/paaswd:&lt;BR /&gt;Should be like:&lt;BR /&gt; -rwsr-xr-x&lt;BR /&gt;Also the file should be own by root and group bin&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds&lt;BR /&gt;JMB&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>If you are in single user mode, you should not need to login. On console you should be at a root prompt when the system comes up in single user mode.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;reboot system, &lt;BR /&gt;press a key to stop boot when prompted&lt;BR /&gt;bo pri&lt;BR /&gt;answer yes to the interact question&lt;BR /&gt;hpux -is &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That should put you in single user mode. &lt;BR /&gt;At which time you will need to mount /usr so you can change the permissions of &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/bin/login and /usr/bin/passwd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If in single user mode you cannot get a prompt then you will need to boot a recovery shell from a cd/dvd.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
