      <description>No, you probably need to expand RAM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One thing to check initially though -- What is the setting of dbc_max_pct?  For 4GB of RAM, it should ideally be 15 to 25 (600MB to 1GB of RAM for buffer cache).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is the default of 50, you definitely need to reduce it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you could post the output of 'swapinfo -tam' that could be a help as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But my first reaction for an Oracle machine is to expand RAM significantly.  4GB is really not that much any more, especially for Oracle.</description>
