Remote printing

Hi all,

A HPUX 10.20 add a remote printer. The file /etc/lp/interface/ is copied from template /usr/lib/lp/model/rmodel by system.

I would like to print cover page/banner including username, request id and date/time. However, I can find other printer template have function 'do_banner' in /usr/lib/lp/model/, but not for rmodel. Is rlp support banner or how to configure ?

Hi,
Change the entry from BSDh="-h" to BSDh=" "
in /etc/lp/interface/
Then restart your print system.

Can I restart service to take effective without reboot server ?

No need to re-boot server.
