I Have to configure an HP-UX server to sent emails ,
i need that for Oracle applications,
please can you help me to make sendmail configuration

You don't have to run sendmail daemon to send mails out.

Make sure you have correct name of hostname defined in /etc/mail/sendmail.cw

Hi,

In /etc/mail/sendmail.cf, make sure you have the following macros configured properly (you may not need to set a smart relay):

# my official domain name
Dj$w.yourdomainname.com

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSmail.yourdomainname.com

Check your inbox for the email.
