Hi,

You need to install schgr (SCSI Medium Changer Device Driver) driver in the kernel in order these devices to be recognized and become CLAIMED. This is what I've got from ioscan:

autoch 0 0/3/2/0.1.14.255.0.0.2 schgr CLAIMED DEVICE HP MSL6000 Series
/dev/rac/c4t0d2

Regards.

--
sve
Hi,

Start Sam-->Kernel Configuration-->Drivers-->
locate schgr, you will see "Out Out" under current and Pending state. Press space to select the line,Select "Add Driver to the kernel" under "Actions". You will see the pending state change to "In". Select "Process new kernel.." under actions and move it into place and reboot the server.

Refer to the link below for step by step instructions
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000080048873

-PB
