https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/problem-in-receiving-mail/m-p/2548728#M27748 Hi experts,<BR /> I am facing a strange problem with "elm".<BR />some times when i try to access elm it is making 6 attempts to receive new mail and exiting. <BR />When i checked /var/mail there was a "sysadmin.lock" file, elm is working fine if i remove this file but the same lock file automatically getting created after some time, then disappearing after few minutes. why this is happening?.<BR />When i use "pine" instead of elm, i am able to go inside, but receiving mail with 1-2 hrs delay, the delay is not acceptable, because it is production machine and we need to monitor periodically.<BR />Using HP-UX 10.20 k-class server. Our mail system is NFS mounted.<BR />Any kind of comments appreciable.<BR />Thanks in advance.<BR /><BR />Satish.
