    <description>Hi Jacqui,&lt;BR /&gt;  The event is nothing to worry about, in general, and it should be possible to stop it happening.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you post the full event details?  There are a number of possible causes, and the solution would depend on disk type, FW level and OnlineDiags version, all of which are included in the full event details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Andrew</description>

It may be going bad pretty soon. Check which volume group is using it. you can check it from "strings /etc/lvmtab" command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;run following command and see if you get any errors.&lt;BR /&gt;dd if=/dev/dsk/CXXtYYdZZ of=/dev/null bs=1024k &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also you can check it from cstm command.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>run cstm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sel dev 'device number'&lt;BR /&gt;info&lt;BR /&gt;il&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;see if you have a huge amount of read or write errors.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For me, software config error is usually a problem with the lvmtab or you might have stale inodes if mirrored.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;run&lt;BR /&gt;lvscan /dev/vgxx/lvolx | grep -i stale&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;on that physical volume to see if anything is stale.</description>

      <description>Just when I finally managed to post, I notice you have already given the details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You have the A.29.00 version of the OnlineDiags, which is a very old version (Dec 2001).  First thing to do is update to a current version, which may well fix the problem. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is the place to get the latest version, which is A.44.00 for 11.00.  You should then also apply PHSS_34834.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The FW is HP01, so should be a supported disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Andrew&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
