restore ignite

Hi ,
I have rx2620 Itanium server , i have sucessfully taken ignite backup of the same including vg00.
Now i want to restore that Ignite image to new server rx7620 server.

Please help how can i go for it.

Hi Hemant,

Pls do the following:-
edit the /etc/inetd.conf on server the comment line called will be uncommented

#bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/bootpd bootpd

make entry in /etc/opt/ignite/instl_boottab
on the client system such that it stores the information of server. for example
132.146.22.53:0x0011855F46F6::reserve #s1

restart ientd service as -> "inetd -c"

reboot client and in efi-menu you need to goto add boot options, choose boot lanA.
After doing this reboot using the option of boot lanA.
