      <description>when I connect to the hpux server using ssh by putty,the session has hang after issuing password.&lt;BR /&gt;so I have do some check on the ssh server.&lt;BR /&gt;hp9000:/#swlist -l product |grep -i secure&lt;BR /&gt;  Secure_Shell          A.04.00.002    HP-UX Secure Shell                -------&amp;gt;the ssh product&lt;BR /&gt;  openssl               A.00.09.07e.012 Secure Network Communications Protocol &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hp9000:/#/sbin/init.d/secsh start                                -------&amp;gt;start sshd successfully&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX Secure Shell started&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX Secure Shell started    ssh hp9000&lt;BR /&gt;The authenticity of host 'hp9000 (10.1.101.1)' can't be established.&lt;BR /&gt;RSA key fingerprint is 5e:14:cd:be:17:e4:8c:54:db:b8:58:10:7e:6f:cd:32.&lt;BR /&gt;Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes&lt;BR /&gt;Warning: Permanently added 'hp9000,10.1.101.1' (RSA) to the list of known hosts.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It seemed I can ssh myself on the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so could you do me a favor to solve the problem about using putty client to connect with hpux11.11?thanks!</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;putty has no problem connecting th secure shell. I use it daily.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a problem with the RSA finger print stored locally on the PC perhaps that needs to be removed so that it can be updated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The version of secure shell on the server is very problematic and should be replaced with a stable version from &lt;A href="http://software.hp.com" target="_blank"&gt;http://software.hp.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tail -f /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do a connect and see what errors are generated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>you need to update ssh software on HP-UX server as Steve said in above post. Once you update it then you can try to connect from putty to connect to HP-UX sever.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can remove RSA information for HP-UX server on client where you are trying to kickoff putty session. check properties for that session and then try to reconnect it.</description>
