Changing node name and hostname on itanium box

Hi all,

I'm trying to set both uname and hostname on an rx2620 box with the same value but after a reboot they change and return to the fabric values.
Anyone has ever faced this behaviuor?

Sure when I don't change the correct file.

vi /etc/rc.config.d/netconf

Hi,

You can use the "set_parms hostname" and make the change there. Also as Steven stated change the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf file.
