Hi,

I want help regrding vxdisk command.

This shows both VxVM & LVM devices. For example:
DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
c2t1d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
c4t0d0 auto:cdsdisk - (abcdg) online

I want to know following:
1. Does STATUS=LVM indicates that this LVM device(c2t1d0) is online?
2. Does this command show information of all VxVM and LVM "online" disk's only?
3. If no then what would be STATUS of an offline VxVM disk and LVM disk?

Thanks in Advance
Sangeeta
1. Does STATUS=LVM indicates that this LVM device(c2t1d0) is online?

YES.

2. Does this command show information of all VxVM and LVM "online" disk's only?

NO.

3. If no then what would be STATUS of an offline VxVM disk and LVM disk?

"online invalid"

which means disk is used neither in LVM nor VxVM.
