    <description>If it shut down due a power problem (ie. lack of power) then there was no chance for anything to be written to the log.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How is it supposed to generate anything if there is no electricity?</description>

      <description>Dear  Sir,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My HP-UX 11.1 has automatically shutdown after a Raw power fluctuation and when i started the server, no shutdown report has been generated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have taken the GSP log and I found following error:&lt;BR /&gt;ALERT LEVEL 13:system hanged due to popping.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so, What is the reason of shutdown the server &lt;BR /&gt;and why it hasn't not generate the log???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks &amp;amp; regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yogesh</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It couldn't write a log because you can't see to write in the dark. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It may seem flippant but try and write something down when the lights suddenly go off at night. You can't.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Neither can your computer. Patrick is right, if the system is of any importance it deservs power protection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
