To properly diagnose this you need to get HP involved. Open a support call with them and tell them what happened. They will then give you instructions for processing the crash dump file and you will send the output to them. They will then be able to analyze it and tell you what happened and what to do to fix it.

Hi, Dushyant, can you do the following:

# cd /var/adm/crash/core.10
# q4
q4> trace event 0

then post the result here so we can understand what cause the system crash.

Yang

Hi ,

It's always better let HP analyse the crash and suggest the solution as it is a panic issue.

This panic string can be of any issue and n number of reasons So better contact hp for crash analysis.

Thanks,
Siva

> pfail_poll_switch+0x1a4
this confirms the on/off switch caused the TOC (Transfer of Control).

You may need to check power switches and if you cannot identify the problem switch, it is better to call HP for the support.

Yang
