      <description>when i give "mail" in the prompt this is the error i am getting:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root #mail&lt;BR /&gt;Warning: Too many letters, overflowing letters concatenated&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;after little time, screen starts flows continuously.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.)how to check the last mail msg came?&lt;BR /&gt;2.)what other basic options are useful with mail command? like how to find out the mails that came in last one day? how to delete the last msg? ..etc..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks,</description>

      <description>Try using "elm" it has a friendlier interface and you can go in there an clear it all out.  At the prompt, type &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# elm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It will ask a couple of questions if this is your first time setting it up, type "yes" for both questions and you should get in.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;for an explanation of your warning please see:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=208965" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=208965&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use mailx as a front-end to your mail.&lt;BR /&gt;Just type "mailx"&lt;BR /&gt;It will show you how many mails you have, sorted by date.&lt;BR /&gt;For the commands available with mailx, please see the latter part of "man mailx"&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
