We have an rp7410 and we plan to add memory on both partitions. All the quads on one partion wil be replaced by higher memory, and on the other partion all quads will be now be populated. Is there any config work needed on the UX end? Is this just plug & reboot?

Thanks,
f. halili

Plug and reboot should be sufficient. The only other thing to look out for is swap space - you may want to increase it.

Pete

Hi:

You might want to reassess the size of your buffer cache if you are using a dynamic one, controlled by 'dbc_min_pct' and 'dbc_max_pct'.

Regards!

...JRF...
