hello,
make sure that in /etc/rc.config.d cpumap2 CPUMAP=1 is set and in pdcinfo PDCINFO=1 is set .

See comments in /sbin/init.d/cpumap2 for normal output destinations . it usually runs as S900cpumap from rc2.d

if this script is edited then the tombstones may be elsewhere.
I hope this helps
Mike

Hi there,

I have faced memory falut error in hp server and the result is the system crash. So I want to know what's happened. I remember it has a file called ts99 in the /var/tombstones/ directory which can display of IO subsystem log entries and display of IO subsystem log entries in hpux 11.00 but I can't find the same file and directory in hpux 11.23. Do any expert know what should I do?

Thanks you very much!!
Regards
Achilles

Check if you have enough free space in /var to hold the ts99 file.

I remember that some stm processes failed to write there if free space is less than 500Mb
Also check your syslog about warnings that there is not enough space.

Chris
tomstones should still be there. Anyway, you can use The Support Tools Manager (xstm series command) to do diagnostics
