(trying to ping 131.101.137.116)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;     The HP JetDirect Printer Installer for Unix can ping the device.&lt;BR /&gt;     The problem may be:&lt;BR /&gt;         * incorrect GET community name!&lt;BR /&gt;         * it is not a network printer!&lt;BR /&gt;         * other.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you want to continue (y/n/q, default - n)? q&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So please give me answer for this&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>First of all, is it documented that your Xerox printer supports the HP (port 9100) JetDirect protocol? If not, you will have to install this as a "Remote" printer (using the LPR/LPD protocol) rather than a "Nerwork" printer.</description>

      <description>Hi, is not a Jet_Direct compatibal printer. You need to use sam to configure it:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. At the prompt, type: sam&lt;BR /&gt;2. When a window appears, select Printer/Plotter Manager.&lt;BR /&gt;3. When the menu appears, select List printer and plotters.&lt;BR /&gt;4. When a list appears, select Actions in the title bar.&lt;BR /&gt;5. From the pull-down menu, select Add Remote Printer.&lt;BR /&gt;6. When a window appears, add values to configure NIC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yang</description>
