topic DNS in Operating System - HP-UX

I have a dns server and i am facing strange issue in that.. Sometimes my DNS server stop responding i.e. its stop resolving the sites and when i am checking the process its showing me the process there. There are 300 domains hosted on my DNS server.Please let me know if anyone faced this issue as i am in serious trouble because of this. In syslog i am not able to get any thing except this message:

What is you OS version and DNS version ?

Has anything been changed on the DNS server/client?

If other servers do not get a response have you tried pinging the ip addresses of the target/server from the client machines. (Network check)

Have you tried pinging out from the DNS server (ndd settings ?)
