      <description>We are trying to add two brand new printer from HP to the same host.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/hosts defined the printer Ip address.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Printer specifications:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Hp Laser jet 4250 Hp Jet directed&lt;BR /&gt;Model Number J7949E&lt;BR /&gt;Frimware: V.28.59.FF&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2. Hp color Laserjet 3800 Printers&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and when we try to add this printers using&lt;BR /&gt;this command line&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#/opt/hpnpl/bin/addqueue -q lst2 -h lst2 -L AUTO&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We get the messate PRINTER NOT SUPPORTED&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hp Jet direct Version&lt;BR /&gt;HP JetDirect Printer Installer for UNIX (Version E.10.34)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chris&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>First visit this web page to see if your printers are listed and if so download and install the new model scripts.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/pond/modelscripts/index2.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.hp.com/pond/modelscripts/index2.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will probably need to run addqueue -i to list all the availkable model scripts and then use the -i addqueue argument to actually select the model script. In almost all cases, you can use an earlier Laserjet or similar interface/model script and all will be well.</description>

      <description>Anytime a printer is added or removed from the lp subsystem, lpsched must be stopped. The addqueue command stops and restarts lpsched implicitly.</description>
