Hi Scott:

What you describe is consistent with a memory leak. In fact, patch PHSS_35370 is a very recent, critical patch that addresses just this issue.

No reboot is required for this patch's installation.

Regards!

...JRF...

I have a newly installed rx8640 running HP-UX 11.23...

Any idea why the cimserver process would be using 18gb of memory?

I restarted the cimserver and now it is using 95mb.

Thanks,
Scott
