Dear all,

Is it possible to have persistent login sessions on HPUX 11.11?

What I mean is like a windows Terminal server session, you can fire one up, do whatever you need to do and then just disconnect, not logoff so that when you come back to it all your programs are as you left them.

I know you can nohup a process to leave it running after you log out but can this be done with a shell? and how would you reconnect to it instead of getting a brand new shell?

thanks for any advice

Cheers
Guy
