RTFM!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;man sh-posix&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;${parameter[subscript]}&lt;BR /&gt;Substitute the value of the parameter, if any. &lt;BR /&gt;:&lt;BR /&gt;If parameter is * or @, all the positional parameters, starting with 1, are substituted&lt;BR /&gt;(separated by a field separator character). See the "Quoting" subsection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth,&lt;BR /&gt;Hein.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
