printer - extra page issue

we have a printer which is configured for SAP. but the issue is each time it prints it prints an extra page. how do i solve the issue from OS level. pl advise

Joe, I think that might be a sap issue instead of an hp-ux issue:

Every time I have ever seen this it was an application issue.

Send a test page. i.e. /etc/copyright. If it only comes on one page then the OS is not the problem.
