topic NFS in Operating System - HP-UX

Hi All,

While taking network recovery of server,
showing an error message of : "NFS server not responding".
the NFS daemon is running in the client.
it is able to ping to both sides.

Please advice to solve this problem.

Hai,

Pls make sure the folowing command gives you ready and waiting response.It it ready and waiting output and still not responding reboot the server.

1.rpcinfo -u servername status
2.rpcinfo -u servername llockmgr
3.rpcinfo -u servername nlockmgr
4.rpcinfo -u clientname status
5.rpcinfo -u clientname llockmgr
6.rpcinfo -u clientname nlockmgr

Result should be ready and waiting.

Note sometimes you can ping but the system is hung. Can you rlogin?
