      <description>Hi,I have a HP server with Basevxvm installed.Server accomadates 2 disks.I would like to use the veritas gui to mirror the root disk with the second disk. Where can i find the procedure for that.Lic have been applied to the veritas product.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Here is the full document for your reference&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1838/5991-1838.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1838/5991-1838.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have not done so:&lt;BR /&gt;you use vxinstall to enable VxVM 4.1 which will let you choose a device, start VxVM and start VxVM daemons, then you remove /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/install-db file so VxVM daemons will auto start at each reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After rootdg configured, you need manually do&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/VRTSob/bin/vxsvc -k&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/VRTSob/bin/vxsvc &lt;BR /&gt;/opt/VRTSob/bin/vxsvc -m&lt;BR /&gt; it will give "Current state of servr: RUNNING"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now you can start GUI interface in any X windows session:&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/VRTSob/bin/vea&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good Luck.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
