Hi All,

We have the Itanium Machine running on HP-UX 11.23 v2 so i need the kernel parameters for Oracle 9i release 9.2.0.7 which is needed before the installation of the Oracle.

The oracle install booklet has these within it.
Do your oracle guys have this info?

Ahmed,
oracle used to have a seperate program (validate) which checked your pre-requisites and alerted you if anything needed changing, I believe this is now part of the runInstaller.

Or, of course, read the Installation guide.

check the DOC (ID 169706.1) at metalink.oracle there are all relevantly kernel parameter for your environment.
