How to make sure if the patch going to install will take a system reboot.?

The patch itself tells you in it's text file or in the description in the patch database on the web:

Automatic Reboot?: Yes

Hi,

Note that an interactive swinstall session will always ask for confirmation before installing software requiring a reboot.

READ THE TEXT FILE,

kernel patch installation normally require reboot.
