      <description>Could be a bad disk. Check for device related error messages in the syslog file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;~cheers</description>

      <description>Shirish,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- check which files you are trying to access with ls.&lt;BR /&gt;- check that vg with vgdisplay&lt;BR /&gt;- check the LV's&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;use # ioscan -fnC disk | grep NO_HW&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cat /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log | egrep '(scsi|lbolt)'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- check and verify /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>

      <description>You can also get this message when you use clearcase.  When you use rmdo on a derived object.  It occurs once, then it is gone.</description>
