automatic os installation

Hi,

we use one ignite server to install hp-ux 11.11 and 11.23 on our IA and PA machines.
if os installation has to be done on many machines then giving the same file system information(File system layout,size,etc) is a cumbersome task.Can this be automated ? Does anyone has such script ?

Shalom,

Yes it can be automated.

It does require a little input.

1) Create an Ignite install profile for each OS configuration combination.
2) Boot the client with a command line telling it what ignite server and options to use.
