    <description>size /usr/terajdbc/lib/libcliv2.sl&lt;BR /&gt;236986 + 20352 + 772 = 258110&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I came to know that there was a recent teradata upgrade on the box.Would like to confirm whether the error is related to teradata in some ways.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is most likely that you are running out of swap space. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try to run the command: swapinfo -tm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To see what is using all your virtual memory:&lt;BR /&gt;$ UNIX95= ps -efo vsz,ruser,pid,ppid,args | sort -rn | more&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;revert&lt;BR /&gt;kind regards&lt;BR /&gt;yogeeraj</description>

      <description>This says you are running out of shared text space.  It can't map in the code from libcliv2.sl.  This isn't data so swapinfo won't help.  What does "size /usr/terajdbc/lib/libcliv2.sl" show?</description>

You could use the follow to see if you are leaking lots of shared memory:&lt;BR /&gt;$ ipcs -m</description>
