Hi, i'd like to know why appears the following message, i mean, i want to export the fs /usr/sap/s1/P00 but before this one i exported /usr/sap/s1 ...

how can i do for this working?

unix1:/etc->exportfs /usr/sap/s1/P00
exportfs error: /usr/sap/s1/P00: parent-directory (/usr/sap/s1) already exported

Hi Manuales:

Un-export the parent directory and then export the subdirectory you want. The error is self-expanatory.

# exportfs -vu /usr/sap/s1
# exportfs -v /usr/sap/s1/P00

Hi Manuales,
Here /usr/sap/s1 is parent directory.
& /usr/sap/s1/P00 is child directory.

Now you have already exported parent directory.now you want to export the child directory,then just unexport the parent dir & then export the child dir.
