Boot 9000 via iSCSI

Did HP ever release a hardware iSCSI initiator for their 9000 systems, specifically the A500 (rp2450) systems?

I know there's a software initiator, but call me old-fashioned .. I like hardware initiators.

As all documents on the cited page refer to the software iSCSI initiator, am I to infer that there is no hardware iSCSI initiator support or availability for HP-UX 11 on the rp24xx platforms because there are no documentation sets for it?

If so, simply stating "no support, sorry" would have sufficed.

No, I can not recall HP ever offering a hardware-based iSCSI initiator for the RP24XX's. I'm not sure a hardware-based iSCSI initiator has been (or perhaps will be) released for any HP 9000's, and I'm not sure there is one yet for the HP Integrity servers either. That would require either a big honking set of EFI (?) firmware or a card with TOE/rNIC support and I don't think we've announced anything in that area yet.

I can confirm, HP has not released an iSCSI hardware initiator product for any HP9000 servers.
