What OS,where did you get your install code from, how did you install (self-compile or  binaries).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What are your library path setting ?&lt;BR /&gt;env | grep -i lib&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please also read:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33&lt;/A&gt; on how to reward any useful answers given to your questions.</description>

      <description>You probably installed the lsof binary from a  HP Porting Center mirror.&lt;BR /&gt;That one didn't work for me either.&lt;BR /&gt;Best bet would be to get an lsof source tarball and compiling it with HP ANSI C cc.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
