patch for oracle10g

I'm installing HPUX 11.11

There is a problem in Oracle installation stage on HPUX.

Oracle prerequsite check:

I'm trying to install patchs above, but HPUX doesn't accept these patch.
Is there another way to solve this error?

Shalom,

You need to install the patches so Oracle will install.

I suspect a methodology issue here.

1) http://itrc.hp.com
2) Click patch database
3) Click HP-UX
4) Use menu to choose 11.11
5) Search by patch ID.
6) Accept patches and DEPENDENCIES.

Continue steps 5 and 6 until you have a complete set.

Then download the entire set and install them all.

Note that you can't install Ansi C patches until you've paid for and installed Ansi C. Same goes for c++ and other possible required add in software.

Hi,

to verify which patches your system requires, please run the RDA script which is available from metalink.

When run, the RDA generates a report containing not only all the patches required on the OS but also other kernel settings as well as software dependencies.
