      <description>If you know the service name use: ps -ef | grep ServiceName&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you know the port use netstat to check what is listening on that port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;ivan</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the services are listed in the /etc/services.&lt;BR /&gt;You can check on this file .Otherwise you can&lt;BR /&gt;able to check the particular daemon assciated with it is running by&lt;BR /&gt;ps -ef | grep -i &lt;SERVICE name=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank u&lt;/SERVICE&gt;</description>
