    <description>I suppose it's possible but it sounds like quite a bit or work to accomplish something that really shouldn't be necessary.  Unlike Windoze machines, HP-UX boxes are designed to stay up for extended periods.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Why else would there be a command called uptime  that tells you how long your machine has been up?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;;^)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Hello everybody&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is possible to make a shutdown button in dtwm login screen that will execute "shutdown -hy 0" ?&lt;BR /&gt;Because i have one person who is using HP-UX workstation for cad/cam and he doesn't have a clue about UNIX and i would not like that he would have root access to the system or type any commands to do a shutdown.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cheers</description>
