Hello i have problems when i create a new VG, in a new disks, i have the next information pls let me know if you need more information about.

The problem is when i tray do a new VG in a diks to 73 GB have problems.
The command used to create volume groups, /sbin/vgcreate, has failed. â â â

Did you first run pvcreate on the disk/LUN?

are these brand new disks?

You need to run the pvcreate command against the disk before it is added to a volume group.. This command prepares the disk for LVM use

But how can i do see the path for example /dev/dsk/.....
I run the next command
tjderby /var #pvcreate /dev/rsdsk/c6t3d0

Couldn't stat physical volume "/dev/rsdsk/c6t3d0":
pvcreate: Couldn't open physical volume "/dev/rsdsk/c6t3d0":
No such file or directory
tjderby /var #pvcreate /dev/dsk/c6t0d0
pvcreate: "/dev/dsk/c6t0d0": not a character device.

After you create/bind a new LUN on your array, you need to do these steps:

ioscan -fn
insf
ioscan -fn -C disk

You should then see the device nodes associated with each disk/LUN and can do a pvcreate.

The purpose to give of high it is these records to create a mirror of the records that they have at present and making good use of space it is that it be for causing more data, my question, a mirror of the records that we have of 36 Gb. in 73 GB's these records can be made and could have utilized the rest of the the space of the record to cause more information?

When I try to create a volume new group manner SAM sends the following message of error to me.

My question is why he has me authority that it has to do with creating it in the record c6t9d0 if I am selecting the record c5t9d0.
