HP-200705A Sun Java Runtime Environment Vulnerabilities

HPUX Version : 11.i
Java JDK 1.5.0.01.01
Java JRE 1.5.0.01.01
What versions of JDK and JRE I should upgrade my Java? We have this vulnerabilities warning passed trough out of our organization. How critical is this? Will upgrade require reboot?

Shalom,

I have never seen a java upgrade that required a reboot.

Services that need java will need to be bounced however, such as Oracle.

Get the latest java when its released from http://www.hp.com/go/java

There may be a patch released there as well.

If I have 5.0.01 can it be upgraded to the 5.0.08 -the latest one?
