error message during make_tape_recover after patching

We recently applied recommended patches to two HP-UX 11.i boxes and when issuing the following command:

[ohio_root]$make_tape_recovery -v -p inc_entire=vg00

We get the following errors:

ERROR: Fileset: "Ignite-UX.BOOT-KERNEL-IA" (rev=B.4.3.91) is a different version than the rest of Ignite-UX (rev=C.7.1.93). You must update all filesets of the product to the same version for proper behavior.

ERROR: All filesets in the Ignite-UX product must be the same revision. Please update any old Ignite-UX filesets.

How do we go about updating old Ignite-UX filesets?

Hi Scott,

You can solve this problem by upgrading the version of IgniteUX to a latest version.

Also while doing any patch installation use below given option with swinstall command , so that only the requirefileset will get updated.

-x patch_match_target=true"

Did you notice any specific error/warning durig the patching.

i notice you have not mentioned -x before the inc_entire.

I would suggest to reinstall the same ignite version and try first.
