    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am getting bellow error,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# resize&lt;BR /&gt;[HP ARIES32]: Error occured while writing core file for 32 bit&lt;BR /&gt;[HP ARIES32]:   PA-RISC application /usr/bin/X11/resize (got signal 10).&lt;BR /&gt;[HP ARIES32]:   Core file may not be correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I applied latest Aries cumulative patch also,but still getting the same error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# PHSS_35528                    1.0            Aries cumulative patch&lt;BR /&gt;  PHSS_35528.CORE2-64SLIB       1.0            OS-Core.CORE2-64SLIB&lt;BR /&gt;  PHSS_35528.CORE2-SHLIBS       1.0            OS-Core.CORE2-SHLIBS&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My understanding is that ARIES is a library that permits Itanium systems to run PA-RISC binaries without recompile.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Our tests showed it gave our 32 bit apps a 70% performance hit.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Recompiling on Itanium without using ARIES was much better for us.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Your real problem may have nothing to do with aries but with resize.  I.e. it got Signal 10 and then aries had problems writing the core file??&lt;BR /&gt;PA-RISC application /usr/bin/X11/resize (got signal 10).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does your current directory allow writing a core file?  And you haven't don't ulimit -c?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Curreent user having write permission to write core.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ulimit&lt;BR /&gt;unlimited&lt;BR /&gt;# umask&lt;BR /&gt;022&lt;BR /&gt;# ulimit -c&lt;BR /&gt;4194303&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
