      <description>If by port you mean mean the parallel or serial port device nodes associated with each queue then:&lt;BR /&gt;lpstat -v&lt;BR /&gt;will do it. However, for network/remote printers the device will be /dev/null and now "port" means a tcp port. For remote printers (those using the LPR/LPD protocol), the lpstat -v will report a line "remote to xxxx on yyyyy" where xxxx is the queue on the remote host yyyyy and the port will always be 515 For Network printer (ie, those using HP's JetDirect protocol) the port will almost always be 9100 but sometimes 9101,9102, or 9103. You have to examine the interface file for the printer to know for sure.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
