Well you do not tell us the model of the 9000 system, nor the OS release, so this is just a suggestion that you have had a catastrophic failure on a device out on the scsi bus (which cannot be deduced from the info you have supplied).

If you have HP-UX 11.00 I recommend you get patch PHKL_20452:

s700_800 11.00 SCSI IO Subsystem Cumulative Patch

from th epatch text:

SCSI Data Page Fault panic: c720_isrAbort/$ihndlr_rtn.

crash event was a panic
panic+0x14
report_trap_or_int_and_panic+0x80
interrupt+0x1d4
$ihndlr_rtn+0x0
c720_isrAbort+0x1c
c720_isr+0xc94
sapic_interrupt+0x2c
mp_ext_interrupt+0x33c
ivti_patch_to_nop3+0x0
idle+0x508
swidle_exit+0x0

Also ensure you get and load any dependencies.

Great, so the patch applies here.
obtain it an dinstall, should cure this, but you may want to get hardware checkeed out as to why this was caused.

Hi Kathleen,

You are on the right track using q4 to get the basic analysis done, and as a matter of fact might get some feed back from the forums as to the cause of the problem. But i strongly suggest opening a call with HP and sending the ana.out (and getting to the root cause of the problem).

Like Melvyn already suggested you might need PHKL_20452 (has a dependency of PHKL_18543) but PHKL_20452 has superceeded by PHKL_24004(which has dependencies of PHKL_18543 and PHKL_24187)

-Regards
Ramesh
