Hi,
I have 72GB of Physical memory with 65GB of device swap space on my HP system where in I run DB2 DB of almost 1TB.

Now issue is,

SWAP utilisation touches 70% with physical memory is at 50-60% levels only. Moreover my swapinfo shows as attached.

Why does swapinfo shows device name as "64,0x010004" and so on..

How can I utilize full physical memory and clarify me on "64,0x010004" naming, pls

You aren't really using your swap.
Your swapinfo shows you haven't turned on pseudo-swap, swapmem_on.

>How can I utilize full physical memory

To use it, you must have more swapspace. Or must turn on swapmem_on.

I'm guessing that 64,0x010004 has to do with your /dev/vgshark1?
