    <description>no we dond have the ignite tape..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;More over i have changed the cd and tried but it doesnt shows the above files..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then i Booted the box and mounted the cds in one of the cds i could able to see those files . But after copying and even giving 777 permission for those files it says " Exicute permision denied"..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pls give me solution to get rid of this issue</description>

      <description>hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My server HP RP 8400 with B.11.11 HU-UX, crashed because some files in the /usr/bin got deleted..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;By using the recovery shell option ,i have restored some commands like cp,find,grep,more and hostname ..etc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;now while exicuting the rc script net.init it says autopush and ndd is missing , this files are note there in the first cd of the O/s .&lt;BR /&gt;i think it may be there in the II-nd cd of the o/s..&lt;BR /&gt;i Dont know how to remove the first cd in the reovery shell mode and replace it with the second cd..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pls help us..&lt;BR /&gt;its very urgent..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with Avance Thanks and regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anith Prabhakar.C&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Anith:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My advice to you is to re-install your operating system from the installation media; download current patch bundles from the ITRC and learn your lesson.  It appears that the damage done may be wider than you realize.  You may end up spending more time chasing on-going anomolies than a re-installation session will take.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You don't say how or what was deleted.  Was the 'root' acoount used by an inexperienced administrator?  Had you or someone else made the directory permissions of '/usr/' something (stupid) like 777 ?  Remember, if you have write-access to a directory, you can remove files from it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to perform a post-mortem examination of the actions leading to this disaster.  The absence of an Ignite Recovery tape (or network archive) is perhaps the gravest error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...</description>
