      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is no default configuration that cleans up the /tmp filesystem in HP-UX. You may know that Red Hat Linux distributions do in fact clean up /tmp by default. They do this with a cron job.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will need to write your own job that cleans up the /tmp filesystem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may find stealing a cron job from a Red Hat system is a good shortcut.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi Manuales:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;During startup, '/sbin/init.d/clean_tmps' will optionally delete files in '/tmp' and '/var/tmp'.  To enable this action, as opposed to simply listing the directory contents during startup, edit '/etc/rc.config.d/clean_tmps' appropriately.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...</description>
