    <description>Hi !!! i run the command dmesg and appeared this one:  what is the meaning?&lt;BR /&gt;also, the system was interrupted and i can not working on it ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SCSI: Attempt to access partially open device -- dev: bc002000&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also, if i run bdf command system is stoped and  i can not continue working, i have to open terminal .. why?</description>

      <description>You need to learn to decode the device numbers:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bc (hex) = 188 decimal major device number&lt;BR /&gt;00 (hex) controller instance number (c0)&lt;BR /&gt;2 (hex) SCSI target (t0)&lt;BR /&gt;0 (hex) SCSI LUN (d0)&lt;BR /&gt;00 (hex) device dependent&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do an lsdev and find what device has a major number of 188 (almost certainly sdisk)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So, you are having problems with /dev/rdsk/c0t2d0 and an i/o error like this (or stale NFS mount) can cause bdf and many other i/o operations to hang.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
