Hello,

Well there are two thoughts on this, one is that you might need to reconfigure your K-class system from the following documentation;

http://www.docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/onlinedocs.py?mpn=B2355-90698&service=hpux&path=../B2355-90698/00/00/27&title=Configuring%20HP-UX%20For%20Peripherals

Second,
Have you tried connecting to that system via Windows hyperterminal to test that the modem your connecting to works outside of the hp to hp config settings you have? this would allow you to pinpoint if its a hp config issue or a hardware issue on the remote end.

HTH,

Vito

Hello,

I have a dial-out modem which I am using to dial a login to another modem. It connects successfully, but then, as soon as the login prompt appears on the other terminal and I type a login name and carriage return, it prompts me with "Reconnect?". I understand that ct prompts me this but I don't know why it is doing that. It works fine on an E-Class server, but with the K-Class, it exhibits this problem. Can somebody help me out please?

Thanks in advance.
