It is an update procedure.
You need the hpux 11.23 media for this

Reinstalling your os is also a solution

Shalom,

I strongly recommend against update-ux. It has proven unreliable and some app vendors don't support it as an upgrade method.

Much better to do a cold install with new media, which you can order here:
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/sum/home.do

You must have a software support contract to obtain this media.

fresh install with 11.23 is a better option. it will eliminate a lot of hassle you may face if you were to perform update.

Hello,

I think its better to do a cold-install. From what I have read its not best to try a upgrade. Just make sure to make a copy of the software you are currently using before habd because you will need to put all that stuff back.
