Remote printer Issue

Hi,
I am getting following message and printer gets disabled.This is happening intermittently.

printer UOQ_prt disabled since Sep 13 09:44 -
disabled by scheduler: Printer interface script returned non-zero exit status.

Please help me to solve this..

As this is a remote printer you will also need to look at the remote queue.

If the remote queue goes offline then the reference to it will also go offline.

Direct connections are much easier to troubleshoot.

Anoop,
You may try stopping/starting the scheduler and later disable/enable the printer.

Stop/Start Scheduler:

/usr/sbin/lpshut - Stops scheduler
/usr/sbin/lpsched - Starts scheduler

Disable/Enable Printers

disable
enable
